I'm not from Utah but I live here now. I like Utah a lot but when I retire my wife and I will probably move out of state. Utah has gotten too expensive to buy property.

Isn’t that true everywhere? I live in Arizona now and housing is outrageous. Of course houses cost less here since most don’t have basements and builders can get away with a lot not having to build for sub-freezing temperatures.

I grew up in So. Cal. and they don't build basements there either but California has always been expensive. They're probably insanely expensive now.

Yeah, housing is very expensive everywhere now which sucks. And it's going to collapse worse than it did in 2007. I wish I could predict the future. I'd sell my house just before the collapse and buy my new house when property values go back to normal.
