Top far-left figures in American politics were silent on Sunday as Cubans took to the streets crying out for freedom from the nation’s communist dictatorship.

Videos circulated on social media of Cubans marching in the streets, protesting the impoverished conditions of the island and their lack of freedom under the far-left communist regime. They did so while chanting “Liberty” and “Freedom” and waving an American flag. The communist dictatorship later started cracking down on the protests, allegedly inflicting violence on the unarmed protesters and cutting off internet access.

This isn't rocket science. The Cubans blame the US for making their country desperately poor and corrupt in the first place. There is no WAY they'd ever been interested in helping us install a neo-Batista government. That's why it hasn't happened yet.

But I'll say it again: the fact that you don't understand this is another reason your time as an army liaison officer was a complete waste.

The only officers I had trouble with were Muslim officers, ( and not all of them) Israeli, British, German, Thai, Philippine, South Korean, Indian, Loved this country and were happy to be here. An Indian Sikh Colonel told me he is bringing his family here when he retires, A south Korean Captain had tears in his eyes when he told me how much he loved this country. A Muslim on the other hand was the happiest when I told him I was born in Germany, he wanted to know if my relatives killed Jews, That was the happiest I saw him. He hated this country and there was nothing I could do but reinforce the fact that he really did not want to be our enemy because OBVIOUSLY he was not our friend.

In Intelligence School at Ft. Huacucha AZ, there were Persian officers in the course, they were Muslim and loved America. Sadly, right after they returned to Persia the Shah was deposed and they probably died soon after.

There were a few younger Muslims that seen the stupidity of their country. One even asked me for asylum. I said you are a friendly country. I will pretend I did not hear that or both of us could be in trouble. The Colonel from Egypt that only hated the USA I put in the same bucket as Antithesis. He sees what is right in front of him but hates the USA any way. LOL!!!! No helping him. Just hope enough people get off the Koolaid he is on. Sadly he is probably on the same Koolaid of the Colonel whose main happiness was thinking of dead Jews. SAD, really!

The fact that you're ignoring what we did to their country before the Communist era is exactly my point as to why they'd never be interested in helping us.
