Denial is strong with those who have been conditioned to choose a different reality, from the rest of the world. I remember the message in early 2017 about "alternative facts," spread by the Tangerine Tyrant's spokesperson. That narrative fit perfectly with what had been declassified in 1984 about the KGB plan. Alternative facts are like phony stories about stolen elections, that are bought lock, stock and barrel by the successfully brainwashed.

It is a "Bad Trump Day," for the hair wad. General Milley comparing his actions to Hitler and the leak of the Russian document concerning their assessment of the Tangerine Tyrant and how that spurred their actions to help get him elected, should have taken years to work their way to the surface.

I suspect people in the Kremlin want to put this era behind them. They see a major collapse of the Trump machine looming. They want to be ahead of the cycle. A document of this kind with the weak denial of authenticity tells me they want this to be known.
