Nah that death was to save us from our sins because in the bible it says the punishment for our sins is eternal death (hell) and the only way to repent was for someone perfect (which thanks to Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit none of us are) to sacrifice themselve for everyone else, and that's were Jesus comes in! Also he did die he was just resurrected.

Also I'm saying that sanitaria gives human sacrifices not all satinism dose that.
