This is the second time on The Flip that I've seen Fortunate Son alluded to as a conservative song. The way that I hear the lyrics, it's an antiestablishment '60s protest song. It talks about fair weather patriots, those that are born into wealth and priveledge, the hawks that send others kids to war, etc.
How exactly is this a conservative song?
