Because they're being brainwashed in college by their Boomer Professors who, back in the 60's and 70's, became militants and professional extremists. Now they're in their 60's and 70's teaching these idiots how to be the same morons. And the kids are too stupid to believe anything else, since you know... it came from their all-knowing Professors.
