Um, yeah, He's not in the spirit world but in heaven. It's a spirit world in a sense that there are spirits there, but it's not where every spirit reside or roam.

Also, anyone who has permanently departed from their bodies (as the latter could no longer be sustained as vital organs no longer function) are dead.

But Jesus is alive because He retained His body (Luke 24:39). He was for the moment, dead (Luke 23:46); but three days later He returned in full use of His body. He is in heaven now and will, with His body, return again.

I've been into the spirit world many times, And some old man said he visited Jesus once, He's just really far away, I'm guessing he lied to me

As for the old man who have claimed to see Jesus; he may not be lying. He did see someone, but it's not Jesus

If my worldview is correct then that man is simply deceived by demons giving him what the Bible called "Lying wonders" (2 Thessalonians 2:9). There are people who have seen or received messages from Angels, but are they truly Angels from God? There are people who've claimed to see or have been visited by the spirits of their dead loved ones, but are they truly? And then there are those who practice divination and claimed that they are the oracle into the spirit world.

These spirits, Angels, etc, claimed to be good and bona fide but you don't know that. None of us do if we reject the solid backing of scripture. Without it, all we can go on is what they claimed to be and what we've experienced from them (good and/or bad). And the Bible says:

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

The good that they do, or the benefits you get, is simply to keep you hooked into the lie they've created to keep you from God.

There are many ways to go to the SW, My usual ones are Meditation, Sleeping for more than one day or just my spritial friend who just sends me there via his own spiritual energy (Which is kinda like giving your ride to someone else), Very nice of him, I must say

And I wouldn't be surprised, Jesus' look does look like an normal man with a beard and long hair, Maybe the old guy did mistake him for someone else,

And most spirits CAN shapeshift, But mostly the spirits that originated from there and not astro projections of living beings, Living beings can do it too, But it takes a lot of training

And considering the spirit world is almost as big as the entire universe (The just the planet, All the galaxies and wholeshabang) All of those could potentially happen
