Nothing better than a cold beer around a campfire, or next to a lake with your fishing pole. I mean there's so much to do when you're camping. What's there to do at the beach? Get sunburned, get sand in every crack and crevice of your body and belongings and get eaten by a shark, lol

That's why you need to go to a lake beach or swimming hole instead. I'm nowhere near the ocean, but there's still great places to swim nearby. I'm fine with ocean swimming, but if I have the choice of potentially getting caught in a rip tide or swimming in a calm lake, I know which one I'm choosing.
