It is very hypocritical of conservatives to hate Islam, Muslims have so much in common with conservatives, they are devoutly religious, they strongly believe in the traditional family, they oppose gay marriage, abortion, transgenderism and feminism.
It is also hypocritical of leftists to scream homophobia when a Christian pastor says something a gay person disagrees with but are very quiet when gay people in Islamic countries are actively being persecuted and even killed. Gays in the west can ignore homophobes and even shout people down for saying something they merely disagree with gays in the middle east are unable to flee persecution.
