im sorry bro the reason why a lot of us hate math is because we were forced into it. Schools tell us one way to do it when we can do it another way easier then take away marks since we aren't doing it there way also im asian so im forced to do at least 5 pages of math above my grade level.
And yes a lot of the asian parent grade amazing at math standards are true :)

I wouldn't know, since I was homeschooled. But I hear that teachers in school get mad at you if you use better techniques than they are teaching you, like you would be doing in real life.
