Ruby: what’s TF2?

Jacob: it's a gaem

Ruby: *processing* [screen]: … PLEASE WAIT…

Sapphire: uh… Ruby?

Ruby: I can’t believe I don’t know what TF2 is I’m looking it up.

Sapphire: oh ok…

Ruby: no wonder why we don’t know about it. It’s a video game. The name is Team Fortress 2.

Jacob: yea, tf2 is short for team fortress 2

Ruby: again, we both have never heard of it.

Jacob: search it up

Ruby: I literally just did. According to Wikipedia:

Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer first-person shooter game developed and published by Valve. It is the sequel to the 1996 Team Fortress mod for Quake and its 1999 remake, Team Fortress Classic. Ruby: we’ve never actually played any video games before, we’ve seen people play some, but not a lot.

Ruby: oh this should be fun then. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to say any of this but here I go. Long ago, Sapphire and I were captured and forced to do experiments by an organization called Galactic Labs, they have been disbanded. Since we behaved we were treated better than almost everyone they captured. That’s all I’m saying right now unless you want to know more.

Ruby: they attempted to use us to summon something that would destroy the universe and a lot of other ones but it didn’t work so they got several others to do that job. Us and several others fought them and somehow won.

Jacob: cool

Ruby: I would go into detail, but I really don’t want to.

Sapphire: most of the time the experiments we had weren’t that bad, it was really this one incident when we really started to hate them, that and the treatment of other test subjects.

Jacob: oh

Ruby: we didn’t really find out about the treatment of other “test subjects” until they gave us permission to walk around the facility freely. The one thing we couldn’t actually do was walk 35 feet away from the door unless we were being escorted by at least 2 armed guards for each of us, there were repairs needed, or for experiments.

Jacob: I have a question, what does it feel like being a Protogen?

Ruby: being a protogen? It feels great, I think I can do some things humans can’t besides my abilities of course.

Jacob: I wonder what it feels like to be a protogen

Ruby: most people will never really know.

Jacob: I wish . . .

Ruby: oh, I’m sorry I can’t help you with that. I’m also gonna break the fourth wall here a bit, I can recommended maybe making a new design or an alternate form where you are a protogen.

Jacob: Sure . . . but is there like any protogen makers out there, I phucking suck at drawing

Ruby: CD used a base when he created me, there are free bases out there as well.

Jacob: Question, what are Bases?

Ruby: I’m this context, they are an outline or partially finished drawing or image of a creature you want to make a character out of. Most of the time you will only need to add the colors you want, some may have you add minor stuff.

Jacob: I don't have any

Ruby: you could probably look some up online.

Jacob: Wait, I got an Idea, * Takes that picture of the characters and Replaces the red with Black, then the pink blue, and the Visor Emotions White * Boom

Ruby: you could always use different images, and credit the artist as well. CD did not create the base he used to make me.
