Alexa: Oh, hello, you two!

*the scene on the laptop turns to static as it is opened before switching to Ruby’s stream, you see Void standing in front of you on the screen*

Ruby: hey, you getting my signal?

Sapphire: if you can hear me, yes.

Ruby: great. *the image is now Ruby walking towards a pool of lava* I’m lucky Void found a cave closer to where the lava is, otherwise I would either have to jump or use a cable and wire to descend.

Alexa: That's lucky!

Ruby: you bet it is.

Void: I’ll go join the others now. *she leaves from the camera view and appears right behind Sapphire again via portal and it’s down to watch the laptop*

Ruby: oh alright then, here goes nothing. *she takes her first step out into the lava, except she isn’t actually descending into it, more like stepping onto a floor of a building*

Alexa: *she watched*

Ruby: should I dive into the lava or does this explain enough of what I can do? *she is walking towards the center of the pool*

Alexa: You can dive if you want to.

Ruby: warning though, you probably won’t see much. Here I go. *she allows herself to descend into the lava*

Alexa: Wow, that looks cool!

Ruby: give it a sec, I’ll be completely submerged. By the way, I can swim in this as if it were actual water.

Alexa: Woaaaaaah.

*they get back and the sky begins to turn dark*

*Void waves back at them before closing the portal*

Ruby: that was pretty fun. Unfortunately you couldn’t join us on either activity.

Sapphire: anything else you want to do? We’ve still got a few hours left.

*they head to the nearest beach*

Sapphire: well I hope it’s not too cold for you. I’m not you Ruby, I mean Alexa here, I already know you can still function when it’s below -400 degrees Fahrenheit and while under a lot of pressure.

Ruby: you really did bit need to say that but ok

Alexa: Well, I got an internal heating system.

Sapphire: great! *she walks into the water first, followed by Ruby*

Ruby: well since you mentioned what I can do, let’s show her exactly what you can do. I just carry these on my just in case we get into trouble and are forced to separate but these will work for here too, not that we will need it anyway. *she hands Sapphire a tracker and communication device*

Sapphire: oh I see what you have in mind. I haven’t dived that far down in a long time.

Ruby: just in case.

Alexa: *she watched*

Sapphire: ok, here goes nothing. *she goes out towards the sea and dives under the water*

*Ruby gets out and opens a small holographic screen tracking how far down Sapphire is on her arm*

Ruby: the yellow dot is Ruby, more specifically, the tracker I gave her, I can also check in with her from here.

Alexa*

Alex: Cool!

(I made a typo in the last sentence that, Sapphire is supposed to have the tracker beacon)

*Theres static and you hear Sapphires voice*

Sapphire: hey guys, I’m probably around 500 feet down, not too impressive for me.

Ruby: your 346 feet down actually

Sapphire: oh… Then again I haven’t done this in a long time Ruby.

Ruby: neither have I, anyways how’s it going so far?

Sapphire: it’s pretty nice actually, I’m going to go further down. Is that ok?

Ruby: go for it if you think you can handle it.

Sapphire: alright.

Alexa: Woah, that's pretty deep.

Ruby: the deepest point in the ocean is approximately 36,200 feet. That’s in challenger deep. She hasn’t made it that far yet as far as I’m aware but considering she has gone to the ocean floor and back multiple times, she could probably make it to challenger deep if she tried, of course not in her current state, she would need more practice before she could do it. We used to do this almost daily but not really on our own free will. The furthest we’ve ever gone together is around 20,000 feet, the furthest dive alone for her is about 25,000 feet. And no, we never used a submarine.

*about 10 minutes pass by*

Sapphire: hey, I moved a little further down, how far did I go?

*Ruby checks the tracker again*

Ruby: 1,796 feet. Maybe you should come back up now.

Sapphire: I forgot how fun this was but I’m still a bit slow. Anyways, see you in a bit.

*static*

Alexa: Wow, that must hurt your head.

Ruby: hello

Alexa: I'm Alexa.

Ruby: I’m Ruby, this is Sapphire

Sapphire: hello.

Alexa: Nice to meet you! *a smiley face appeared on her screen*

*Ruby smiles as well*

Sapphire: it’s such a calm day out, what do you want to do?

Alexa: I don't know. Do you have any ideas?

Ruby: you wouldn’t like mine.

Sapphire: maybe we can do mine if you can go underwater for a long period of time. But it’s still bad.

Alexa: Well, I am waterproof.

Sapphire: great so we can go swimming.

Ruby: sure, the beach sounds like a great idea

Alexa: Alright!

Ruby: alright, I’ll dive now. *she goes under the lava, the camera turns to mostly a mixture of oranges and reds with the exception with the white on Ruby’s arms as she propels herself through the lava*

Alexa: Cool!

Ruby: sorry there isn’t much to look at, I’ll try to move closer to the volcano wall.

Alexa: Alright.

*she swims close to the wall while keeping her head under the lava, you see the wall come into view about 5 feet away, the rest is still just a mixture of oranges and reds from the lava*

Ruby: alright, I’m going to the surface again.

Alexa: That was cool!

Ruby: yeah, it is. Let’s get out of here before something bad happens though. Again, this Volcano could erupt at any time.

Void: Alright. *she opens a portal back to the beach* hop in. I’ll close it from here, I’m going somewhere else.

Sapphire: alright then. Bye Void.

Void: see ya, nice seeing you two under normal circumstances.

Alexa: You too.

*Sapphire and Ruby walk through the portal back to the beach*

Alexa: *she walks into the portal*

*The camera now shows the side where Ruby came up was not where the cave entrance was, it was the opposite side*

Ruby: I’ll be back in a second.

Alexa: Okey Dokey!

*Ruby swims to the cave and gets out before Void enters the frame again and the screen goes static and back to the Home Screen of the laptop. Moments later, Ruby and Void appear by their side*

Alexa: Oh, hey.

Ruby: hello.

Alexa: That looked fun.

Ruby: after a bit of practice you get used to it.

*15 minutes later, Sapphire pops her head out of the water and swims to shore*

Ruby: so what did you see?

Sapphire: the usual marine life, at least this time I don’t have to collect samples of anything like we used to do.

Ruby: yeah, kind of fun when we don’t really have an objective to complete or target to collect.

Alexa: Yeah, I guess. *she was currently trying to stay relevant to the conversation*

Sapphire: you wanna show Alexa what you can do?

Ruby: OH HELL NO. YOU BOTH WOULD DIE FROM THE HEAT ALONE.

Sapphire: we aren’t the ones going into a literal pool of lava. I think we’ll be fine with you on the volcano.

Ruby: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Too dangerous for both of you.

Sapphire: we don’t have to be up there with you either, you can cast it any devices we have.

Ruby: true, but still no. Depending on the amount of ash present I could lose your signal. You would have to be extremely close to any Volcano or pool of lava I decide to go near. Plus we are nowhere near any volcano or any source of lava!

Sapphire: let’s let Alexa decide. If she wants to see I can always call Void here.

Ruby: … fine. It’s not my fault if either of you get injured. Also, I’m sorry if we haven’t been talking to you much, I wouldn’t be able to explain much without going into detail of who we used to be working for.

Alexa: We'll see, I guess. Don't worry, I'm extremely careful. And I also have an air conditioner in me *she smiled*

Ruby: that’s not my point, an eruption could happen at any time. I would be fine when taking my resistance to heat and fire into account. Sapphire here on the other hand can survive up to about 250-300 degrees Fahrenheit without much of a problem but will probably be burned if she even a tiny drop of lava was somehow hit her. I also don’t want you getting injured by lava or any debris in the event of an eruption.

Sapphire: the chances of that are astronomically low. Anyways, I’ll contact Void. *she uses the communication device that Ruby handed her*

*Sapphire awaited an answer and got no reply*

Sapphire: I guess that didn’t—

*Void appeared right behind Sapphire, she stepped out of a portal she had created*

*Sapphire jumped in surprise*

Void: You called?

Sapphire: hey Void, long time no see, and yes I did call you.

Void: glad to see you too. Anyways, who is your friend here? I would like to know who they are before I do anything.

Alexa: Hello! *she looked at Void, smiling*

Void: hello.

Sapphire: this is Alexa.

Ruby: we showed her Sapphires abilities but she wants to see mine now.

Void: now thats very dangerous. You really want to go to the nearest volcano just for a few minutes for this?

Ruby: well we’re hoping it isn’t active either.

Void: come on. *she opens another portal and they are halfway up the nearest volcano at the other side of the portal* Follow me. *she steps through*

Alexa: Alright! *she stepped through as well*

Void: I’ll stay incase you need a quick escape. First let me take Ruby up to the top so she can screencast her POV to another device. I actually have a laptop on me right now so I’ll just give it to you. *she hands Sapphire a laptop*

Sapphire: alright, fine by me, and thanks.

Void: no problem. *she disappears through another portal with Ruby*

Alexa: Well, this is exciting.
