So you do acknowledge that Trump’s economic policy has helped black Americans more than Democrats’ policy has.

Riding Obama's economic wave, it gained momentum after he left :)

Ah yes the claim that everything good from Trump is just Obama’s doing. Let’s take a look. Both Trump and Obama battled a recession during their presidency and had different methods for lowering high unemployment rates. Obama used more government hands on methods and Trump used more free market methods. Under Obama, the unemployment rate pre recession was 4.4% and reached its highest at 10%. After 8 years of Obama the lowest it got to was 4.8%. 8 years and still not a full recovery. Trump’s recovery went from 14.8% to 6.3% in 8 months. Not 8 years, 8 months. That’s almost 12 times faster than Obama.

Recessions have momentum that are not timed with presidency. But the recession started under Bush so it's not fair to blame Obama for that.

I didn’t blame Obama for the recession. I blamed Obama for having poor economic plans that didn’t even fully recover the nation’s employment rate after 8 years.

bush's 2 failed wars and the impossibility of repaying that debt combined with his refusal to regulate wall street and banks caused the recession, not the home buyers belief in the banks lies.

It’s easy to just say it’s Bush’s fault, in reality there were LOTS of factors and people to blame, too many to just say Bush caused it. There’s the subprime mortgage crisis, the Federal Reserve (works independent from Bush), politicians in Congress (both D and R), Bill Clinton, and Bush’s inexperienced actions toward Wall street and Banks.
I am not taking blame away from Bush, I’m clarifying that it’s not just him.

Here’s now the second left wing source that disagrees with you.
https://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/20/business/worldbusiness/20iht-prexy.4.16321064.html

And here’s responses to the popular “waaah Bush!” arguments. (Actually read this before casting it aside please.)

first article is paywalled. Second is disproven within the comments. Everybody has an opinion, but it's the democrats who wanted better regulations and republicans who opposed them.

bush is still responsible for not doing anything after 911 which led to khashoggis murder and 2 unwinnable wars who's debt and cost also had a lot to do with our inability to handle the recession or todays infrastructure needs.

bush could have pushed EV development after 911 and everybody would have gotten behind it. instead, he told conservatards to waste more gas, that we would stupidly send soliders to die for it.

Also I saw that AEI published their article with largely false arguments a little too late, I had already punched in the comment, just didn’t really feel like removing it plus I thought you would be able to access the one from NYT.

That was weird. I was able to the the NYT article a couple hours ago but now it’s paywalled for me too. The main point from it was that there is a very long list of factors that caused a terrible recession, Bush’s policies are among them but not even the main factor. The main factor is the subprime mortgage market.

subprime which republicans didn't want to regulate. and they still try to roll back obamas regulations today.

Congratulations, the first true thing you’ve said. However, deregulation is necessary in certain areas, wall street just wasn’t one of them.

The Subprime Mortgage Crisis occurred during W's term, and record minority housing ownership was something he bragged about and claimed responsibility for, so blame comes with the credit he took because math.

What did the Federal Reserve do other than lower interest rates in order to lower the value of the Dollar as per Bush's request?

Bush was inexperienced with letting out an entire sentence without mangling his tongue in the process, didn't stop people from electing him TWICE.
Sheesh, the guy was such a blithering bucket of ineptitude that it took a raging senile moronic celebrity show clown huckster with autocratic aspirations to make him look like he made it past 2nd grade.

Don't forget to add the wonders Derivatives Trading to the list of economic innovations tucked in W's cap.

There were a couple of ways Clinton opened the door to the mess that imploded under Bush, but the latter had two terms in which all he did was embrace them and call the results his own instead of correcting them. See above about math.....

What happened to “we finished 6 hours ago”? I guess you just love picking fights. But seriously, you reject any facts, logic, or reasoning. I won’t waste any air with you anymore.

Your self professed ignorance is duly noted, your delightful deflecting and dodging frame it well.

Oh, and that was another meme, although seeing as you're babbling the same "But it's not the R's fault because it's everyone else's" tripe, I can see how you confused them like you confuse everything else.

true, he killed the economy by calling covid a hoax instead of getting everybody on the right to be serious.

False, the economy was killed when Democrats started lockdowns. You’ll notice the unemployment rate jumps massively high when lockdowns first went into effect, (which Trump opposed) and then began dropping very quickly, far quicker than Obama’s recovery. Denying this is denying facts.

your graph proves my point. obama handed trump a recovery and trump ruined it by not doing anything until it was too late.

So it’s Trump’s fault for not doing enough to stop Democrats?

bush's fault for the recession, not trump's.

Dude even Washington post says that’s false.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/09/30/clintons-claim-that-the-bush-tax-cuts-played-a-large-part-in-sparking-2008-recession/

The principal cause of the recession was the widely held fallacy that national housing prices could not fall.
