“ Using what you observe to draw a conclusion means that the world must conform to your perception or it doesn't exist” that’s the very basis of human understanding. Humans understand the world through their observations. That’s why it’s important to broaden your view and see as much as possible.
“Have you cataloged every star in the sky?” No, but who has?
“Do you deny the existence of things that you are unaware of?” An example would’ve been nice, but I’ll the unicorn. I believe that unicorns don’t exist. Why? Because there’s not any evidence that suggests they do. And if later I found out that there is solid evidence that unicorns exist, then I’ll change my beliefs and say that unicorns exist. Same goes for religion. Until there’s solid evidence and not just personal experiences and god gap arguments than I’ll change my views.
Also, every atheist is different. It’s unfair and just incorrect to say atheism as a whole uses faith. Are there atheists that use faith? Sure. Not all atheists have reach the conclusion that there’s no god(s) the same way. It’s perfectly fine to use faith, but to say everyone has isn’t. Also I appreciate your respectfulness, others wouldn’t be so respectful to me.
