The best was George Lopez on the Bill Maher show when it was on WABC.
Maher and the other 2 or 3 guests were rattling on about them pesky illegals, and Lopez sez, "Yeah, they're stealing all those valuable strawberry picking jobs"

If you wanna laugh, try to find it on YouTube if it's available, Lopez just blasted them away on that show, and it is rolling-on-the-floor funny too, rat tat rat, one after another. The only episode of Maher I was able to sit through.

Not enough workers? And yet our legal immigration system has a massive backlog, insane and unfair costs illegals don't have to pay, and the shame of making people wait and incur these costs in time and money while watching illegals come in, get amnesty, and then start working immediately?

Assuming you hire an attorney to help you through the process, which many need, it can cost from between $4,000-12,000 (that according to Google) to come over without claiming asylum (which obviously costs nothing).

Speaking from personal experience, I know it cost my aunts, who are both quite intelligent and more than capable of handling basic paperwork, tens of thousands of dollars to clear every hurdle and even get basic clearance to live and work here. The system isn't nearly as simple or efficient as it seems on the surface.

Amen to that. Fix legal immigration and the incentive to illegally immigrate falls dramatically, thereby saving us money spent on the border.
