Unfortunately, the RICO statutes were severely restricted years ago because they were grossly abused, for such things as saying that an insurance company committed RICO violations by not paying a particular claim.
Federal courts ultimately said that the INTENDED PURPOSE of the RICO statute was to combat ORGANIZED CRIME, i.e., the Mafia, MS-13, etc. So the statute doesn't apply to a single company or small group of related companies or simply people who share an idealogy and various people with such common interests sometimes join together in a common activity.
