Thank you everyone who voted RUP!

Now that the voting period is drawing to a close, I think enough votes have been counted for me to safely say with confidence that Wubbzymon is projected to become the first President to be re-elected, CAPTA1N_SECT10N_PR1CE. is on track to become the first Vice President to be re-elected, and I appear to have become the first Head of Congress to be re-elected. This truly is shaping up to be a magnificent result, and I am very pleased to see all the Right Unity Party candidates performing so well their elections. This is indeed a time for jubilation, but also a time for unity in the aftermath of what was a very intense campaign season, and to acknowledge the efforts of the other candidates. I understand that not everyone wanted this result, and some candidates campaigned very hard for a different outcome. I look forward to working for you all as your new Head of Congress, and if elected I will reach out to all sides to make this stream a better place for everyone. I will also welcome the Crusaders and other conservatives into the Right Unity Party with open arms so that we can keep the right united. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us, and I look forward to the inauguration tomorrow! Also don’t forget that RUP primaries begin next month on August 1 and the nominees will be elected a week later in time for the next election. But before we get too ahead of ourselves let’s wait for the final result to be formalised and look forward to what Wubbzy’s second term may bring.
