there's an anime centering around a trans girl and another girl questioning her gender! never seen it but still
there's a lot of BL (gay) anime out there
and one anime I like said ace rights and non-binary rights, and it has official artwork of a man getting married to another man!

Yeah, one of the reasons I like anime is because of diverse characters. Contact with missionaries created homophobia in the country, but in traditional Japanese culture it wasn't unusual for a samurai or court lady to express same sex attraction; & many entertainers were androgynous.
