Every time I try to be accepting of straight people in an LGBTQ+ stream, I see the politics strams hating on LGBTQ+ and realize that most straights are homophobic. I think it's just a trust issue thing.

This is like with Gacha when someone does Gacha heat and then the entire gacha community gets blamed for it.
Don’t judge a group of people by what one person does.
This is also a very trumpish site, so don’t assume what people on this site think applies to the world.
