FYI, to you and anyone else that reads this: Accounts don't get deleted without good reason and typically are for TOS violations and repeat offenses especially on well established accounts (such as yours). If your account privileges are in jeopardy, it should be quite clear as to what happened. If anything happens and it's a surprise, please reach out to a site mod (like you did) or send an email to the site feedback system for more information. Regardless of what some may say, we don't take "nuking" accounts lightly :)

Last I checked we don't take orders from users on who we can "nuke" or not and when. Like Thparky said alot of factors are considered before taking any action on a user from unfeaturing a meme to deleting comments to deleting accounts, please don't tell us how to do our jobs. Suggestions on improving the site are fine and welcome in the imgflip stream. Thanks.
