Haha! Well, we could just do it over the comments here, I guess? The way I typically role play digitally is like Character Name: Hi! *I jog over.* Like, the person’s name, what they say, and then the actions in asterisks.

Lilla: *I laugh softly.* Sure. *I pull my math notebook out, and put it on Aliyanna’s desk.* You should be able to learn most of it from there. I pride myself on taking very, very good notes. *I smile playfully, so it doesn’t seem like I’m bragging.* Today’s notes are pages 56-58.

Lilla: Okay so… *I walk her through the notes, explaining things she’s confused on.* Okay, you get it now?

Lilla: *The hug surprises me at first, and I stiffen. I’m used to my mother hugging me when she’s drunk, and upset about who knows what. But, I force myself to relax. This isn’t Mom, this is Ali, the girl who sits next to me in 3 different classes. I hug her back.* Of course. (What grade are they in? I was thinking either 10th or 11th, like mid-high school.)
