True. I think people nowadays are readier to replace people around them instead of fixing them, which is pretty damn sad.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with putting yourself first.

Thing is, people get so lost in replacing people and skipping over the bad ones that they forget they could be the ones with the problem. Self love is nice, but it turns into ignorance if you put it over other people.

And I'd always assume there's no perfect people. People need to change for other people, and it never stops cuz nobody has the "perfect" life, it's always moving. You negotiate and compromise and change for the people you value, that works and you better understand yourself that way.

Basically, self love is promoted, but you shouldn't be a narcissist. I understand.

And about the changing thing, oF cOurSe. When you meet people and form relationship, they will have some influence on you- and even if it's just the slightest bit you will change. Everyone is built up by the influence of people they surround themselves with, their environment in general. And different amounts of time you spend with certain people and certain places, it will all effect how you, as the final product, will end up.
