I'm sorry to hear that. People do fail and the strongest among us have their own weaknesses.

So, are you wondering what to do with him.?

Oh... I'm sorry I've misunderstood you. You were wanting guidance, not asking guidance about him.

Well, if you'd like, I can disciple you until you can find someone in your church who can.

WHY REPENTENCE AND FAITH COMES BEFORE OBEDIENCE.

The reason why it must be this way, rather than immediately doing good thing for Him is because we are sinners before a holy and just God. We sin, because it is in our nature to sin, which is passed down from the very beginning since Adam's sin (Romans 5:12-16).

For example, we need no training and conditioning to lie, steal, hate (which is an act of murder - Matthew 5:21-22), commit adultery (Matthew 5:27-28), blaspheme God (Exodus 20:7), covet (Exodus 20:17), etc. We do them, effortlessly.

So any good that you do for Him would only be to Him, "Filthy Rags" (Isaiah 64:6).

But in giving your life to Him, He fundamentally changes you from the inside, out. Recall, that I've said we have a nature to sin; by giving our lives to Him, we acquire a new nature (2 Corinthians 5:17)

HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM

1. It starts with prayer and trust that God will lead you change; then, obeying his every commandment

2. Then, study and meditate on the commandments of God.

3, Obeying the commandments of God)

I'll return later.

Oh I see; my mistake again.

It always begins by giving your life to Him by

1. Repenting of your sins, meaning, that you resolved to no longer live in the lifestyle God hates.

Repentance is abstaining from the things you love to do, it begins at the heart. You must want to repent. Repentance means to change your mind and purpose against sin.

2. ... Surrendering your life to Christ as your Lord (which means that you submit yourself as His servant)...

By making Him Lord and King over your life, you are submitting yourself under His authority. If He commands you to do this, you do it; and if He wants you to forbear, than you follow that order.

Your life as a Christian, is a lifestyle of repentance and obedience.

His orders, commands, and prohibitions are in scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

3. ... and savior, meaning, that for your salvation you trust in no other entity or your own good works to save you, but trusting Christ alone to save you.

By doing this, you are saved and will be saved (Mark 1:15).

HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM (Continued....)

4. Faith and Works go hand to hand in a believer's life. The more faith you have, the greater motivation for you to work; and the more work you will do, the stronger your faith will be

5. Find a local, Bible-believing church that takes church that (If you haven't found one yet):
- If you're able to find it, exposits scripture (an example below), not just preach the word topically.
- That believes in discipleship (2 Corinthians 12:14-15)
- Church discipline seriously in accordance to Matthew 18:15-17
- And that you can fellowship in.

Fellowship
The value of fellowship is not just having a social life within the congregation, but:
- To work together for the cause of the Gospel and other truths found in scripture (1 Timothy 3:15)
- To encourage, admonish, comfort, and strengthen one another (Proverbs 27:6, 17, Romans 12:10, 13, 15, Colossians 3:16-17)

The end. If anymore I will let you know. Enjoy your weekend, brother/sister!
