Democratic infighting in this political climate seems rather pointless. Like arguing with your wife over what’s for dinner when the Mongols are outside the city walls hurling flaming rocks and dead cattle infected with the plague.

Exception for Joe Manchin, since he’s the only one who could really change Washington at this point if he wanted. Everyone else in the Democratic caucus is generally on the same page and rowing in the same direction.

Investing time and money into the Democratic party as it exists is a waste of time and money. The squad has done nothing. They are totally ineffective and have not blocked any significant legislation despite having the ability to do so in the House of Representatives. They have destroyed their own credibility. The Democrats have not protected us and have not changed any of the heinously evil policies decried on a constant basis under the Trump Administration. There's been no student debt cancellation, there has been no health Care reform, there has been no de-escalation of military conflict, there has been no action on climate issues, there has been no reformed immigration policy, there has been no reform to private prisons, and so on. Joe mention plays the role of the rotating villain. The Democrats are totally impotent and have no desire to change any of these things. Electoral politics is an utter failure in the United States. It was designed to fail. The US Constitution is trash and the two-party system has made it nearly impossible for a third party to exist or for institutional power to be challenged.
