Suki: “DEKU! Are you ok!?!?” She runs over to him- he hasn’t seen her before- how does she know his name?

*little did Suki know, one of the perks that One for All was telepathy.* Deku: Honestly Suki, if you’re busy, I can totally wait until later

She walks back to her apartment to study

In truth, Suki had a big exam to study for- the one that might get her into 1-A. But she didn’t like that much attention, anyways, and she would kill someone for Deku- something she wasnt going to admit probably ever.

Suki: “i-i was on TV!?!? Well i know i got into a bit of a fight with bakugo, but i didn’t think i was THAT impressive-“

Deku: I heard some talk about Edgeshot wanting to team up with you

Suki: “w-well since you seem to be so impressed with me- we should probably be properly acquainted. My name is Suki Uta- you might know me by my hero name, Echo.” She holds out her hand to shake

*Deku blushes and doesn’t know what to do* *awkwardly shakes Suki’s hand*

Suki tries to stay calm, but her mind is racing- the boy she’d had a crush on since back when she sketching him while he was cleaning the beach- was asking her on a date!
She can’t help but let out a little “ha!” Of sheer bewilderment while she shakes his hand

Deku: also, I was thinking instead of going for coffee, we just hang here. Alone.
