With a dash of anime....
What started out as an unfinished Redwall drawing of some sort of weasel warrior was picked up years later and finished in a different art style, one vaguely mimicking the dark and scratchy drawings of the child from the Dark Tower.
It's an interesting connection to make. The man in black sends his Goblin like lowmen, some sort of rat/lizard people, to go to other worlds and use their dark magic to corrupt other worlds' creatures to become their minions. In this case, the Man in Black's Lowmen went to Mossflower, found sentient vermin bandits, and morphed them into dark magic to be used later.
In the background you see some references to the dark tower and penny wise. We also had watched an anime, Shakugan No Shana that night, so to go along with the night, I drew some fiery orbs that represented lost souls to fill in space.
