I mean no insult, Mr.TooUnique. But that is how conspiracy theories are made. It is a narrative founded on theories supported by more theories, rooted in hearsays.
For example, the JFK assassination
1. An unlikely rapidity of impeccably accurate shots
2. Magic bullet
3. Sound said to have come from the grassy knoll
4. Unknown figures behind fences
When
1. It is possible to shoot that well even with a Carcano M38 bolt action
2. Yes, it could mean that there were multiple shooters, but it can also mean that the lone assassin fired multiple shots. First round hits Pres. Kennedy, second through President's neck and into Gov. Connelly.
3. Sounds do bounce from buildings which is why we hear echos
4. There are people everywhere, of course you see someone in the shadows. Witnesses are not always reliable
Unanswered questions are often exploited as "The government is covering it up".
And when someone doubts the story "Well, you know, we can never trust government". Governments should, of course, not always be trusted but that is an argumentative fallacy.
And people, believe this irrationality.
