I’ve actually asked Imgflip’s global mods directly about this. They replied that words like “libtard,” “MAGAt,” etc. are not necessarily deletion-worthy on their own, unless they’re mixed with other insults and invective.
In the meme you reference, the creator uses the word “Trumptard” one time and isn’t even accusing anyone specific of being one. Mildly rude but not too concerning. That’s why I approved it.
We might one day in our discretion adopt stricter rules than the site mods on this subject, as we sometimes do, but for now we haven’t. “Trumptard” strikes me as a shopworn political insult rather than ableism.
But anyway. What *is* ableism?
