Does it hurt anyone?

Feelings can hurt you. You shouldn't judge your situation based solely on how you feel. (That goes for everyone, even if you don't have gender dysphoria.)

You should base your identity on how you feel. And that's what transitioning is. And please, explain an actual way it can hurt anyone. Because if it doesn't, I suggest you respect their freedom

But feelings don't always reflect what is true. Your feelings do not define you. And your feelings about other people definitely do not define them.

Your feelings do define you. They shape how you see things, which partly defines you. They shape how you act, how you think. They shape just about everything you do

Feelings are not everything. There are your experiences, your environment, your temparament (which is more genetic than anything else). . .

Environment and experiences both change your feelings and how you feel about things. Your temperament is your feelings. Your actions are based on your feelings. Your thoughts are based on your feelings. Give me one defining character trait that isn't based on your feelings

Why not base your identity on the reality of your situation. In that way, you can better expect others to accept your identity, because they're accepting reality.

Just because you feel like a purple space unicorn because it isn't reality, nobody else is feeling that. You can't expect others to accept your fantasy. Reality is the only thing we all share, and the only thing you can count on from others.

I can already hear the counter-argument.... "But my feelings are real" - of course they are, but they're your feelings, not anyone else's. Nobody else hears the call of the moon goddess telling you about your destiny to bring rainbow sprinkles to all of the lonely cupcakes on Jupiter......we all have our own problems - nobody wants to deal with yours.

I ask you however. Does it hurt anyone?

Because if not, then you have no reason to care. Unless you want to be an authoritarian

Sure it does. By expecting someone to alter reality to conform to your view of it, and then criticizing/chastising them for not doing it. Look at the "it's ma'am" guy - he verbally assaulted the store employee and did damage to the store because of his mental illness and others being unwilling to play along with it.

You are showing how some trans people act like Karens. Not how being trans is, in itself, harmful. Disabled people can act like karens due to their disability. Should we disallow help for the disabled?

Disabled people face their reality, and depending on their disability, others are able to identify the disability and compensate for it (shared reality). Disability = reality, fantasy = not reality.

Then there's drag queen story hour, where children are indoctrinated with unhealthy behavior.

Then there's school curriculum changing in an attempt to normalize a mental disorder.

Then there's restroom policies that put women and children in closed quarters with people who have a mental disorder.

Then there's Hollywood injecting it into mainstream entertainment in an attempt to indoctrinate and normalize this mental disorder.

I could go on, but I have a feeling that your cup is already full.

Drag isn't unhealthy, it's a guy dressing in girl's clothes or the other way round. It's generally done as a performance either way. A mental disorder is a very broad term. 'Attempting to normalize a mental disorder'. That's not bad. It's fairly common, and recognising it can be important. 'People with a mental disorder'. great idea. Should we also put depressed people in seperate bathrooms? Anxiety? Psychopathia? ASPD? After all, we can't have mentally ill people in the same bathrooms as women and children

Less than 1% is not common.

Children who embrace the transgender lifestyle are more likely to experience anxiety, depression, and at greater risk of substance abuse and homelessness. Suicide rates are higher, likelihood of becoming a victim of sexual assault is higher, they're less likely to maintain consistent employment.....

Yeah, let's encourage that.

Fun fact: Most of these problems that you highlight are the result of discrimination, not of actually being transgender
