Only Cowards Disable Comments

Seems true enough. I am, however, waiting for some more Republicans to step up and enact actual change or at the very least pushing for the enforcement of laws that currently exist. Rather, they say they will, send the proposition to committee, analyze the subject for a fiscal year and finally getting around to doing exactly nothing.

There are a few however that I respect tremendously and their number far outweighs the Democrats in that regard... about the only one left I can stomach is Gabbard. At least she sticks to her convictions and isn't shy about supporting her claims.

I saw an excellent meme about that very thing. I'm not sure the template or title but in a nutshell: "progressive" politics/politicians move the ball two inches down the field; everyone screams that's too far; "progressive" politics/politicians move back an inch only to then move the ball another two inches; and so on and so on.

That seems to be why so many consider me a conservative these days. My political view haven't changed, the Overton Window shifted so far left I've simply been kicked me out of the middle... in fact, I USED to be center LEFT. So much for that, I guess!

"You guys"? Who's side to you suppose I'm on? I think Republicans suck and Democrats swallow... it just happens that Democrats - or whatever the Democrat party has mutated into - happen to be doing the most harm to America at present.

I wasn't aware that there was more than one political stream on this site. It makes me sad to see both sides of the political spectrum have made their own little echo chambers, free of dissenting opinion. That's really not a great idea... both for the good of the country or the good of one's own betterment.
