I’m not aware of any way to lose points on Imgflip, other than to get caught cheating and have the mods set your points to minus-1 million or something

No, It doesn't let you lose points, plus Low Rated comment will not lose your points but it indeed gives you points from downvoting. Only cheaters lose points whenever they spam alot.
