i dont understand why we need a month dedicated to something. For example, black history month and gay pride month

if anything, gay pride should be celebrated every month and not just in june...seems weird to keep something like gay pride exclusively in june. Honestly seems like just a way for commercial businesses to gain more profit by saying "We are celebrating gay pride month" and that other weird shit
