A gaming or fandom forum having a new member show up that brings up their dislike of politics for no apparent reason, only to talk about those same politics non-stop to get the kids to agree with them. It's referred to as the starting point of many a homebrew extremist's downward spiral.

Think of an army recruiter going to a high school to nab recruits, but then turn that army recruiter into a troll online with the intention of swaying kids to a political agenda for their own personal gain. A simile of this exists in Facebook groups, with the targets there being nosy old people.

Since I am an adult and not into gaming or kids or reddit, why would I know any of this.
