1. Wuhan Lab wasn’t “ignored.” It was greeted with intense interest at first, then increasingly less so as initial research cast doubt on the hypothesis and it eventually came to be associated with the same people promoting the bag of Covid idiocy under which could be filed other things like HXQ shilling, anti-masking, anti-distancing, and anything that came out of Trump’s mouth on the subject.
2. Nope. HXQ wasn’t ever a treatment and still isn’t.
3. Restricting travel from China wasn’t “racist.” Anyone who thought that was stupid. But, that Trump policy was something else: destined to fail. And it did. Not to mention Trump’s “Kung Flu” and “China virus” terminology, it smacked of xenophobia and passing the buck. But the main thing about it was it simply didn’t work. 15 cases did not go down to zero. The virus was already on our shores and if it wasn’t, would have come in through Europe. Trump needed to focus right away on domestic preparedness, and he didn’t. He kept coming up with new excuses like the warm weather would kill it off and it would all be gone by Easter.
Manifest incompetence by Trump all around.
