So true. Most of these 'woke' people have never had a hard day of work, went to college to major in liberal arts or gender studies, and make easy money talking about 'racism' or 'discrimination'. They make themselves feel good by talking about it, but they are only spreading the hate.

lol 'make easy money'? thats the funniest thing I read today. Oh how did you arrive at this insight wise one? Tell me how to make easy money telling people about being woke, and also explain how it spreads hate. I had no idea trump was such an artist lol

Dunno what you mean about Trump being an artist. But anyway, if you have a YouTube, TikTok, or other social media platform, you can make money. It's how influencers get so rich. No, I'm not saying everyone gets rich from this.
Saying that all white people are inherently racist or privileged, that all black people are oppressed, or that women and LGBTQ people are marginalized because of their gender or sexuality is spreading hate because it makes black, LGBTQ, or female people think that white, straight, or male people are their oppressors and hate them. It makes white, straight, or male people hate themselves because of who they are and so-called "inherent racism".

Referring to rumpty as an artist is sarcasm. You are right that 'not everyone' gets wealthy from being an online influencer - very very few do in fact. Being 'woke' doesn't mean you hate yourself, its realizing that there are inequities in life and even doing small things to help is better than pretending it doesn't exist. Weak people might hate themselves, but that is the extreme. They feel guilt and empathy. If some people feel that way, great - as a starting point. But then move on and make a difference in your community. It's far better to feel guilty than hate, for yourself or others.

Respect the former President. What if we started calling Obama the n-word or some other slur? It's silly to feel guilt for having a certain privilege. You should be thankful that you have it and use it for good. There's nothing wrong with being born into a family that has more money than others or being of a certain religion or sexuality and you have no choice over the circumstances you were born under anyway.

True Respect is earned. So you're saying he is an artist? In one sense yes, a con artist.

If you're disrespecting the President Trump you're not disrespecting the person.
You are disrespecting the office and the American people.

He's a sore loser wanna be president, now x president with very low morals who is not only on his third wife but also buys sex. Presidents are not kings they are elected and his case the USA is very lucky to dethrone him before a second term as he was driving the country into chaos. Freedom means being able to criticize the president without fear of state sponsored persecution.

Well, you still owe him the respect you would owe Clinton. Clinton actually had an affair with a young woman, but he's still called a President.

Maybe you're too young to know that respect is earned. Which explains why only white supremacists and low IQ imbeciles like him.

Excuse me. I'm skipping a grade and have high honors, thank you very much. I'm not stupid. Respect is earned by becoming president of the United States, making our economy great again, and putting America first.

GeekGirl is right in every aspect.
Yes wokeism does spread hate. Virtually all woke people I know are conceited if it gets to simple down-to-earth minds who go with their guts, traditions and faith.
CRT is divisive. And the preachers of wokeness make an easy buck cuz it's government funded money.

btw: you figure to be of that ilk- given your ill-concealed arrogance and subtle mocking.

People here barely make it past the first half.
But they've begun to develop a dislike for "soft" and "rich" concepts like philosophizing, just because of their inability to make it to that point where it becomes normal.

I agree with him. The way they speak and their mannerisms over there are so much different than here. Their minds aren't focused on stupid things but necessities. It's all about survival & worship of the Most High.

How many bombings do they still have there? Some of those people are definitely not 'woke' lol. See I refer to them as people, not 'scum' or 'animals' like they do in the USA

Maybe they are already enlightened. We see the same in Canada, people are saying don't lump us in with the USA because they are not only racist, they are actively racist. Some are actively racist in Canada also but it's a small minority, not 30-40% like in the USA. If Africans and Asians are already 'woke' then good for them! It can seem like a silly thing to say when people are already bright and use their intelligence for good.

If we had any interactions or inclination toward what life is like in other countries then we would be able to see why most everyone supposedly hates us. I discovered this myself over the past year & it blew me away how simple & humble others lives are & how pathetic & spoiled we've been raised.

The first reaction is 'that's so true' but consider how long its taken the concept of human rights to take hold across the world. This change only happens when leaders push us out of our comfort zones. To me, 'woke' means being more aware and respectful of other people's humanity. Yes other countries might make fun of progressive societies, but this is because the people in those countries are struggling for basics like food and water. It's basic Maslow's hierarchy of needs, sociology 101, or ethics 101 I can't recall. Once people's basic needs are met then they begin looking to improve other areas of society. This is why 'western' culture is always pushing to improve human rights, and why more wealthy countries donate food water and supplies to third world countries.

Criticism

[...] Furthermore, the Hierarchy of Needs has been accused of having a cultural bias—mainly reflecting Western values and ideologies. From the perspective of many cultural psychologists, this concept is considered relative to each culture and society and cannot be universally applied.[81]
