No, Anti- Contamination suits are usually fabric or throw away paper suits. There is a posted procedure on taking these off that if followed you should not get contaminated. High contamination areas you sometimes have 2 paper or fabric suits. The real bad contamination is on the outer suit. Then when it is taken off the inner suit has far less contamination. Contamination is about 1 in 1000 entries in my estimation. Most of these are light contamination because of precautions. You also have to watch your dose you receive. Most places give radiation safety bonuses and also extreme punishment to include automatic firing for real stupidity. I actually could have lost my job for giving someone another chance. I called someone in my office and told her that and told her not to do what she did again. She forgot her radiation dose indicator when she left an area and it was still recording dose she actually was not getting. I got 3000 dollars in addition to my salary for a radiation safety bonus for 6 weeks work as a consultant. This dose could have affected my bonus so most would not be as kind as I was.
