My reason is that recent studies show that incest creates humans that most likely will not survive, and Christians believe that there were only two persons in the start which means that everyone is related. So that’s one reason the other is that if there had been a god, PRAYERS WOULD BE ANSWERED! And if the past was filled with blessed people like Samson or Jesus why aren’t there any now? And Jesus promised to rid the world of sin and I am still here as an big sinner (I consider myself as an multi-religional sinner because I’m a sinner in Christianity Islam and Judaism)
1. I abandoned religion
2. I eat pork
3. I eat meat and milk together, in the form of gravy of course (which isn’t kosher in Judaism)
4. I have lied a lot of times
5. I have never ever gone to a church temple or whatever people call it on a weekly basis
6. I have prayed once in my lifetime and that was when I were a toddler
And yet I’m a pretty nice guy! Religion has so many stupid rules

#1 If God has the power to create a human being, shouldn't he have power to sustain a life through incest?

Not likely to survive isn’t impossible.
Prayers don’t have to be answered, sometimes they are, but in ways you can’t see.
The whole Old Testament was supposed to be filled with people pointing towards Jesus, it would be much easier for these books to be preserved if the prophet/leader had gained some recognition, that’s why there were so many miracle workers in the Old Testament. We don’t need that now, as Christianity has spread all over the world. It has been, and will be preserved forevermore.

I just generally think the idea of there being some person or entity we cannot see nor have any proof of, creating or changing the world is dumb.

Also most religion is oppressive, sexist, homophobic etc. so it just generally upsets me to see people honoring it, especially because it was forced onto many of the "believers"

It also causes a lot of hate and war in communities, as arguments on what religion is true or false always arises.

And plus, it's basically telling somebody "if you don't follow these random rules some dude came up with then you'll go to hell and we'll all hate you" how does that make any sense??

I grew up with a religion forced upon me. I was born into the Christian religion and I am still trapped in it technically (while I don’t believe it, I must pretend I do). At a very young age my church and family members taught me not to ask certain questions. I can only ask questions that would make Christianity look good. Well, once I actually got a chance to think about my religion (pandemic), I slowly realized that I didn’t agree with Biblical views. I also disagree with the idea that a god exists. If they do, then they certainly don’t want to be found. We may not ever know and that’s ok. We’re fine without them. Another thing I realized was that I was only in my religion because of my parents.

So yeah, religion has done more harm than good to me to be kept.

Luckily my parents didn’t force me to believe anything, the only person in my family that wants me to be Christian is my step-grandpa he will get a little grumpy when i tell him that I’m planning to do a non-religious confirmation

In Norway (the country i live in) if people are atheist they can choose to not have the confirmation in church but in a building we rent, then instead of learning about Jesus and all that we learn about social studies and how to behave near different religious people. The point of that is if atheist kids also want to celebrate turning 15 they can do it.

There are SO many things one could cite about the Bible and about religions generally. Especially if you study how they were produced!! Stories being officially recorded hundreds of years after they happened for example! The problematic numerous translations!
The direct interferences of the likes of King James for instance.

But to not belabor the point too much I will close with the observation that there are such glaring indictments as to its very purpose. Those at the top use it as a means to an end....to control the masses..period.
And the masses soak it up primarily out of selfishness!
They don't like the discomfort that is inherent to life like death being an end; as well as avoiding the fear of not understanding things; in addition to the sense of superiority & self-righteousness they derive from their professions of belief. Then it also makes inequities so much more palatable when you can console yourself that you'll be rewarded in Heaven and others will be punished in Hell.

Yes The Bible stories make absolutely no sense! Incest creates children that has so many medical conditions that they couldn’t survive in the time of the Bible. And I hate Christians because they always try to scare me with hell, and they always try to convert me, here is an example: Typical atheists even with the evidence of NDEs, (near death experiences) the obvious deduction that no matter which way you section physical concrete reality no object explains it’s own existence, therefore there has to be a non-physical first cause. And the fact that we’re so fine tuned that this universe allows for the existence of life and it therefore follows that there is a fine tuner, they still choose not to believe in a God simply because they don’t wanna belie.
