Sadly Racism is being perpetuated by the left. There is NO reason I have had to be racist doing my job as a military officer. Attitude and ability should be the only criteria for any person, regardless of color, race, sex, That is what MLK wanted.

No one thinks "oh, hey, I'm a racist." Maybe a few of the very honest-with-themselves alt-right KKK poeple, but mostly, no. People don't think they're racist.

But.

Here's the deal.

We were raised in a system created and built by racists. We live in a racist system.

Did you ever say anything like "X is one of the good ones." or “You are a credit to your race.”
“You are so articulate.” “I’m not a racist. I have several Black friends.”

Yes, you are being racist in refusing to acknowledge your place in society granted to you solely because of the color of your skin. Just like the white person in the picture you posted- they're being condescending with their whiteness and silencing the Black person.

Funny you should bring up the military since there are barely any people of color in high ranking positions. Are we to believe there just aren't any African-Americans bright enough or tough enough or in possession of the right "attitude" to be Lieutenants, Colonels or Generals?

How Do The Racial Minorities Break Down?
21.5% of those who are active duty in the US Army are African-American. The only category where Caucasians are under-represented: US Army officers. Unfortunately many blacks went to an inner city school like I did before I was fortunate and my dad moved. These are controlled by racist liberal teacher unions that perpetuate ignorance. I know been there. You have to pass a basic military officer test, ( Except for chaplains and medical officers) You also have to pass a ASVAB test and Officer selection board. At a minimum you have to pass land navigation, calling in Artillery, communications, physical fitness standards, etc. One of the most unfortunate persons I met was a private from Detroit African American. He had a college degree, his scores were not high enough to be an officer. I saw his paperwork and saw they brought him in as a E-1 Private. I
got his rank changed to an E-3. Private First Class. He eventually failed out to no fault of his own.
I had to meet with him again to reclass him. He thanked me or his help.
I told him I believed his education system failed him. He was not a failure.
The only time after I talked to him for a little while and he looked at me and ask me a strange question, sir you are not racist. I said I am not and want what was best for him.
The military is not a social experiment. You can not have officers in that do not have basic military skills that are provable. Part of that is the failure is democrat schools is my OPINION.
