It doesn’t matter that much, but it’s nice to see LGBTQ+ characters being added. Especially since most of the community gets treated badly. It’s just a warm feeling for us.

It really doesn't unless it's important to the story. It is a bit nice though to see a character that is lgbtq+ and not just so the studio/creator can look "progressive" but that is an actual good character. And I really don't care if all the characters in a vg/movie are straight or cis since the majority of people on Earth are both

Yeah but making them LGBT+Q and then never showing or referencing in the program (like *spongebob), is just another tidbit, the equivalent of companies putting rainbows everywhere in June.
*Recently Nikelodeon said Spongebob was gay

That being said, it doesn't devalue him as a character, so it's really not that big of a deal. I'm not saying you were trying to do that, though. To be COMPLETELY fair, though, it is kind of annoying when companies are like "WE LOVE THE GAYS" when you know they're just saying that because they want social points and not because they actually care about the LGBTQ+ community.

I know, and I'm glad to see one of my favourite childhood heroes like me. The social thing ticks me off big time, ughhh

Well nikolodeon said he was gay. Most cartoon characters seem ace to me tbh
