Miko had EXTREMELY strict biological parents, who would reprimand him for basically anything out of place he did, even if it was on accident. eventually, for some unknown reason, his parents decided to give him up to an orphanage, and almost a year later he was adopted by Cory and Max, who definitely treat him way better. he has a hard time talking to other kids, since he was never really allowed to play with other kids before. he gets along really well with adults though. he's developed a liking to literature and anime, thanks to Max and Cory.
