This isn't a day on the beach. You need to swap batteries and keep moving. Furthermore, combat conditions are not conducive to solar charging. Half of the time it's night. Other times you have cloudy days and possibilities of heavy smoke in the air. Anyone remember the thick black clouds of smoke when Saddam pulled out of Libya and burned the oil fields in his wake?
