Communism is sort of like full-government control of everything. Socialism is introduced government programs for housing, healthcare, and more.

Socialism is the usual stepping stone to full-on Communism. Look at Cuba. Look at the USSR. Look at Venezuela. No matter where it is tried, it fails... miserably.

Disagree. Parts of it were added in Vienna and worked. Full socialism doesn't work, but adding elements of it does.
Communism always fails. but Socialism sometimes fails, sometimes not. It's better used as an add-on to capitalism, fixing its flaws.

The only place that Socialism works is/ was Scandinavia. Having lived a number of years in Sweden, I can say it worked, to large degree, fairly well. It works, or should I say "worked", because Scandinavia was largely homogeneous. With the recent influx of people from Islamic countries, you can see the cracks getting bigger, and it will eventually fail, too. When there are more takers than there are producers the machine ceases to function.
