I don't think Christianity is an excuse for homophobia... I think some people USE Christianity as an excuse to judge others and affirm their superiority, but the Bible can (and should) be interpreted in a way that is understanding of the differences of others.

I will also add that this is a problem within the larger Christian CULTURE... but it would be solved if more tolerant Christians stood up and denounced those who use their religion for hate.

I'm Christan and aromantic and IDK about all other people that are related to me I'm allowing them to discover LGBTQ on their own and wait until they are comfortable with it.

The one with the shorter name used to be a little bit iffy, when i came out to her as non binary she didnt talk to me for like a week, and she's still getting used to my new pronouns.
