The difference being, FOX is typically loaded with sensationalism and heavily skews the facts. Fox business is okay sometimes. For the k list party people cite me fox and friends.

Everyone should take the "news" apprehensively. Most of the time, they aren't actually news, but legally labeled as entertainment, as such they're allowed to lie to you.
To avoid to much legwork, I suggest rueters or associated press. Both are reputable s centrist and highly factual.

For me, I only read articles that are primary source, which is rarely ever the news, or articles that have have external links to support their claims. If ask you can link for your stuff is right wing media, that strains your credibility.
I avoid citing left wing media unless I can find centrist articles about the same topic
