Anyone who thinks China ISN'T a horribly suppressive and racist country has been pounding the kool-aid.
I'm a huge Disney fan myself (I don't care if I'm an adult, I'm watching Descendents and singing the songs. Like it or eff off, lol), but I straight up refuse to watch the Mulan remake because they explicitly credited Xinjiang's overseers...that's a remake to far.
Plus, the old movie was already perfect...it was about a woman proving that she could do everything a man could, but better...and it had one of the best Disney songs of all time "I'll Make a Man Out of You"...and it had Eddie Murphy...
TL;DR: Disney great. Disney's relationship with China not so great.
