Raise Minimium Wage

Raising the minimum wage will cause low-level employees to lose their jobs. McDonald's can't afford a bunch of $15 an hour 16 year olds.

Not to mention that it will simply pour more fuel on the fire that is upwardly spiraling inflation.

Double the minimum wage? Great, that'll help the poor (buy you some votes), won't hurt the rich, and significantly hurt the middle class. Why? Because, as I said, prices will rise but middle class income will not, thereby restricting the middle class' purchasing power. Just because the minimum wage doubles overnight doesn't mean that I can march up to my boss and demand that he double my salary.

Nope, the middle class just keeps taking it up the back side.

They won't work for $7.50 when they can earn the equivalent of 40 hrs a week at $18/hr for not working. It's not rocket science, it's common sense.
