It's almost general strike time.

I mean, yeah the GOP is being spineless sycophants about this, but. Let's keep our heads.

We all know what happened anyway, honestly. It was all on videotape. Even posted on these MAGA folks' damn social media pages. The FBI is prosecuting cases. The history books will record Donald Trump as directly responsible and everyone who enabled him as a traitor on par with the Confederates.

So: Keep living your life. Make the GOP pay at the ballot box from now until the end of time, or until they make serious amends for their destruction of democracy, whichever comes first.

I know you're a pessimist, but. It worked well enough in 2020! :)

That said, this transition of power was terrifying on so many levels, and woke a lot of people up to the fact that democracy doesn't work on its own as if by magic. A thing Americans took for granted, but should no longer.

Did it work well enough? How's HR1 looking? How about the Green New Deal?
