When you fly this garbage, this is what you are saying.

When you fly this garbage, this is what you are saying. | The constitution, it is true, secured every essential guarantee to the institution while it should last, and hence no argument can be justly urged against the constitutional guarantees thus secured, because of the common sentiment of the day. Those ideas, however, were fundamentally wrong. They rested upon the assumption of the equality of races. This was an error. It was a sandy foundation, and the government built upon it fell when the "storm came and the wind blew."; Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite idea; its foundations are laid, its corner-stone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery subordination to the superior race is his natural and normal condition. This, our new government, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth. | image tagged in confederate flag, treason, racism, memes, politics, slavery | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Never studied history did you? Try reading about the civil rights movement and how it changed America. Next read up on Nixon’s southern strategy.

I seriously doubt you will, easier to look the fool laughing at what you don’t know. Enjoy your chuckle. I am mildly amused by fools.

I know that democrats wanted new states to be able to choose to have slavery, but a constitutional amendment that they didn't support removed that from their platform. I know that when California became a state that both parties had the same ideals for a while, trying to win votes in the new territory. I know that as businesses no longer needed large investment into infrastructure by government, republicans switched to the platform of smaller government in an effort to reduce their tax burden and regulations on their activities. Yeah yeah yeah, we know about the switch.
But you gotta admit, you were actually the one that brought it up!

When Johnson signed the civil rights into law, the parties flipped. The Democratic southern became Republicans and the progressive republicans became Democrats. That is what I was referencing. A very large fact most conservatives either are ignorant of or willing ignore.

Then there was Nixon’s southern strategy. The racist dog whistles that now dominate the republican talking points. He knew then that the newly southern republicans were racists and pandered to them, just as the right does today.

So I brought it up because the racists (now calling themselves conservatives) love to bring up it was the dems that started the kkk and Jim Crow laws ignoring real history.

If that is your best, try giving up while you lost. Now excuse me, me and my pony are going for a nice ride in the sunshine.

And there you go with the "Vitamin D will prevent Covid-19" conspiracy theory. The frequent commenters are so frigging predictable that I don’t even feel like I should reply anymore
