I mean, this was only a suggestion about how to improve a roleplay by making a fun independent micronation. Now the opponents are overreacting by treating this like some sort of treasonous threat, and saying that the mods should "nuke" us for even suggesting the idea.

I'm not saying we should nuke anyone. I am wholly against censorship for the wrong reasons. Is it really worth possibly being shut down by the website's Moderators for some enhanced roleplay? Why should we risk being overun by trolls and hatespeech just for more drama? Seems like too big of a risk for me

The hypocrisy here is that your side is arguing that we will both attract more trolls and turn people away at the same time. Surely it can't be both of those. Either we get more attention or we don't.
