Is it a sexuality and what does it mean?

It was originally hate speech used against us. Unfortunately some members of the community think it can be reclaimed, & don't seem to care how much pain that word causes some of us.

True... I, personally, think it's ok to call oneself anything one feels comfortable with (I do realize there might be additional rules for some words). It usually gets ugly when you start calling others something - even if you don't intend it to be hurtful.

It's usually used to say "I'm not cis/het but I'm not quite sure what I am yet" or "I'm not cis/het but I don't want to/can't really define what I am". It can be for both gender and sexual/romantic attraction, but sometimes it is specified as "genderqueer" when it is specifically meant to refer to gender as it is usually associated more with orientation.
