The pandemic’s not over. Consider this announcement an incentive to ***get vaccinated***, if you aren’t already.

Well, a friend of mine finally got her first shot... and went into anaphylaxis. No more mocking vaccine hesitancy for me.

That sucks. Some people legitimately can’t be vaccinated because of medical reasons (which is why those who can, should, to build herd immunity), and in most cases receiving the vaccine causes mild flu-like symptoms. But there are reports of rare, more serious reactions as well like your friend’s.

For me, the first shot did nothing except very mild soreness at the injection site and the second caused fever and aches and pains for a half a day, most of which I slept through.

In almost every case, coming down with a full-blown case of Covid is worse than getting the vaccine, and can be much worse — that’s kind of where I fall on this.

They said the first one might make my arm sore, 'phhhhh, its a tiny little needle, whatever doc', doc was correct... but although a little sore not much a deal.. the second one though, wow, like a baseball bat to the arm... was fine after the one day though

My friends grandmother got it and died, lots of old people are dying and not being counted as Vax related death. Lots of shaming happening for those of us who choose not to be a part of the experiment.
